I’m a former executive recruiter who worked with leading technology companies world wide, with a focus on the Wireless sector, to find and recruit top sales and marketing talent. I now pursue living life to it’s fullest and sharing my findings and thoughts with others. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body or being the richest corpse in the cemetery, but rather to skid broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, ” WOW. WHAT A RIDE”.

I have five hot buttons I like to write and read about.

1 – *Technology*, particularly the bleeding edge and robotics

2 – *Education*, what works, seems to be working or is not working at all

3 – *Politics*. Hopefully more than just a rant with a constructive idea or two thrown in the mix

4 – *Employment* with insights for Job Seekers, Recruiters, Sourcers and HR professionals.

5 – *Pulmonary Fibrosis* – the ninja killer (few know about it) that strikes over 48,000 Americans annually with a death rate of 40,000 per year, same as Breast cancer. No cure now or on the near horizon.

As a personal effort I also help boomers in their careers and life and my other web sites focus on fitness, careers and technology.

My two published books are Linkedin For Recruiting documenting how recruiters are using the LinkedIn network and BigBiller, interviews with the recruiting industries top 1% producers on how they do what they do in order to bill a Million Dollars a year.

I am or have been a Fortune 500 sales and marketing executive, coach, HeadHunter, serial entrepreneur, author, vlogger, publisher, big biller, speaker, recruiting trainer, career coach, mentor and recruitment & software developer and technology industry consultant.  I believe that everybody has the ability to achieve success in life and my goal is to help others succeed.

I went from sales and marketing management with fortune 500 companies such as Revlon, Max Factor and Helene Curtis, to the computer and  software industries where I launched a chain of computer stores and participated in taking a software company public. I joined Management Recruiters International (MRI) in 1986 and was their National Rookie of the year in 1987. For the last 20 years I have run my own retained executive search business and along the way created a software company focused on software for recruiting and staffing firms, and founded Recruiters OnLine Network (RON), a top 100 web site as well as EmploymentDigest.net. I sold my software business in 2002 and web businesses in 2010.

I have been a founder and board member of the Pinnacle Society recognizing achievement in the staffing industry, a national speaker for NAPS, served on the Board of Directors of The Texas Association Staffing Services (TAPS), was an officer with the Metroplex Association of Personnel Services (MAAPS) as well as a founder of the local Dallas Independent Recruiters Group (IRG) and a lifetime member of the USMC Force Recon Association (FRA) and a middle of the pack Triathlete.
